Fact of the day: Today is Tolkien's birthday. Go ahead, nerds, today is the day you may rejoice. But in even cooler news, today is the day that Martin Luther was excommunicated from the church. Also everyone should wish Alaska a happy anniversary, on this day in 1959, they joined us in the bonds of statehood.

My favorite holiday-themed comic this year
Fun site of the moment: Fabulist.org. Their description of themselves is as follows, "Us kids are strung together by a profound love of music, toys, truth, beauty, and looking at things upside-down. A fabulist is a teller of tales. Also, it's a list of really cool stuff. (We're both.)" They have a good amount of music on there (I suggest finding their selections from the Maccabees) along with a lot of stuff that's just neat.
Stay tuned for a possible t-shirt store being heavily advertised on this space. Ya see, I recieved a screen printing set for Christmas and therefore will be attempting to make myself some money. My t-shirt ideas rule and you will buy copious amounts of them.
