That would be a coffee table with lots of LEDs under the surface that respond to movement. So as you move your hand across the surface of the table, it lights up. It's like a table full of fairy dust! :) Evil Mad Scientist Libraries has them for sale and have shown them at the Maker Faire last year and this year.
